Yeah, I finally finished No More Heroes. I would have done it sooner if I wasn't so lazy.
You play as Travis Touchdown, a late twenties-something otaku living in a motel with his cat Jeane, who just purchased a Beam Katana off of an online auction and suddenly proceeded to become an Assassin in the UAA. You do jobs, kill thugs, etc. to get money to enter Ranking fights with one of ten creepy psychopaths. During all of this you can get collectables, new wrestling moves, pump iron, get new clothes, and hit on the blonde babe Sylvia. You progress through each ranked fight up to number one, and it won't take very long. Maybe seven hours for me, and I'm lazy.
The fighting system, as I stated before, is awesome. Depending on the way you hold the wiimote, your attacks will be either High or Low. Beam Katana attacks flow smoothly and you can punch/kick/grab foes and perform pro-wrestling moves on them, which is very amusing.
Outside of fighting is the jobs and assassin gigs. The jobs are usually quirky and fun, despite the menial tasks at hand, they make it fun. The assassin gigs are amusing as always and I used them more than the jobs.
The town, Santa Destroy, is a ver gritty and dirty place, with lots of people trying to "Get to the Top". The driving system sucks, in my opinion. It's okay for it being not a main part of the game, but near the end it was just annoying. Travis has a beast of a bike though, reminded me of Akira.
The bosses are amazing, each one having their own quirks that make them amusing to fight, as well as difficult. I only died once through the game, in the second ranked fight. But I was playing on "Sweet" setting, and I'll probably run through again on "Mild" for the fun. Building up to the bosses are the thugs, with only a few different archetypes. Brass Knuckles, pistol, uzi, katana, axe, beam katana. It's all fun though, since they all are amusing to mutilate.
The game if VERY graphic, with blood flowing like kool-aid and people dropping f-bombs and the like, but if you've got the balls to even buy the game (AND NOT GIVE TO YOUR LITTLE KIDS SO THEY SHUT UP) you should be able to tolerate. No guts or boobies and such, just kool-aid geysers. I liked the game a lot, and I hope to see a sequel of sorts.

Quick blog before I go.
Been playing No More Heroes recently. It's a great addition to the Wii's library, but there are a few bugs (Mostly in the driving parts) that I didn't like. Fighting however, is VERY well made. Nothing beats a sword to the gut and then a piledriver. Very customizable with lots of collectibles to get and minigames to beat. I wish they had spent a little more time on it, but otherwise it's amazing.
Still searching for an MMO of sorts. Outspark's Secrets of the Solstice looks fun, but their tech support hasn't answered my ticket yet so I can't even install the damn game. I tried PiStory but the game was hardly working, I had to log in 4+ times just to make a character. Other than that, it was alright. Reminded me of Lunia, in terms of the stages and the realtime combat system.

MMOs, annoying ninjas, and tits.
Still playing DOMO. Lost the Dancer PVP event because the winning team had a cheating player and the GameSages did nothing about it. Kinda ticked me off but whatever. Been toying with other classes since finding a group is hard. Yay, other classes. Also been raising a pet. DOMO has an amazing pet system, much better than other MMO's. Still has that great community, too. Been bribed to play Ragnarok again, I dunno if I will. Tempted, but I'll probably end up quitting again. I dunno.
In other news, I got and played some Narutard fighting game for the PSP. If there's anything I'll give to those babbling idiots is that Naruto has some very solid fighting games. Thats all I'll give it. I also got some Yu Gi Oh! Game for the psp, but shits changes so fast since the card game. I've lost my touch.
Crashing at a friends house for the weekend to catch up on rock band. Glee.

Stuff, things, etc.
Summer has started, and I'm already bored to tears. Watching crappy shows on TV (RENO 911.) and trying to find an MMO that suits my tastes is a bore after a week.
I've been playing Dream of Mirror Online (DOMO) for a few days, and enjoying myself. I don't like the fact that the developers don't announce anything but cash shop deals. That ain't coo', Bro. You gotta keep up with the players, not give them GREAT AND EXCITING DEALS. Other than that, it's a pretty solid game, sporting a number of classes and two servers.
I've also been pondering about making a rally bad animation, but I dunno yet.
Drop me a line at bulletr0k at gmail dot com if you want me to review an MMO/Site/ETC. I've got a lot of time on my hands.

Alice Cooper and the DMV.
So for the past few days I've had exams. I finished them all and now school's out for SUMMER. The unbearable Floridian summer. In better news, I got my permit today after taking the General Knowledge test for the third time. Damn thing isn't easy, but I passed. Now I can drive into ditches like a good teen.
Watched Yachtzee's review on Oblivion. Haven't played it before but It was pretty accurate from watching friends play. Not a big fan of GIANT PC RPGS THAT WILL TAKE ME MONTHS TO BEAT. Been playing Power Stone Collections on my PSP, best 3d fighter ever. Been toying with PSP applications too, albiet not much cause only so many will function on a Slim.
More updates over the summer, and check my Deviantart.

Speed, lots of it. (Not the drug)
So, I haven't updated in a while. I've been somewhat busy with school, games, etc. Finals are coming up next week and it ain't cool.
I saw Speed Racer over the weekend, it was alright. The Side-to-side screen transition pissed me off though. There was a point where they did it TWELVE GODDAMN TIMES in a few minutes. The colors didn't help either, really fuckin' annoying, gave me a headache. Otherwise it was alright. Seemed more like a really long car insurance commercial to me.
And about cars, I failed my Florida Learner's permit test today. Its a lot harder than I though. Gonna retake it next week. Road signs/Vision test are piss easy. The Other, General Knowledge, was hard. I need to study.

I dunno. Insert post title here? Jeez.
So I've been listening to the Beastie Boys recently. I feel so much more ghetto every time I come home to my pink house in the 'burbs and load up iTunes. I also turned my friend on to Ska music, and he loves the stuff already. Found out that Reel Big Fish covered 'Hungry like the Wolf' by Duran Duran too. Sweet cover.
Did you know that telling a girl she has a nice bottom is a compliment AND offensive? I learned this in french class.
Me: "Hey Beth, you look very nice today."
Beth: "Thanks..."
--Later on--
Me: "Hey beth, nice ass. Haha."
Beth: "Thanks..? Hah."
Some girl: "OMG WHY DID YOU SAY THAT? OMG YOU NEVER SAY THAT THATS LIKE CALLING HER FAT"
Me: "Beth, I'm sorry for complimenting your assets. Please accept my grievance."
Beth: "It's fine, I liked the compliment."
Bitches confuse me.
In gaming news, I've been playing Brave Story on my PSP. It's a very good game and makes me feel like I'm playing a good old RPG, no gimmicks to it aside from regular combat. I played Beats too, But I thought it was too easy for me so I stopped. Got FFT:WotL but I haven't played much. It's better than Wild Arms: Crossfire though.

MYYYY MYY MYYYYY, DELILAH.
So Capcom is holding a poll for new Street Fighter 4 figurines. You can vote for your favorite fighters here.
Personally, I voted for Zangief. I mean honestly, why WOULDN'T I want a Huge russian wrestler to grace my desktop with his Polar bear-wrestling scars and manly V of hair? That would be amazing.
In other news, Zero Punctuation reviewed GTA4 Today. I enjoy his reviews, and can usually agree with him on certain views. I don't have a console to play GTA on, but I have friends who do, so I'll get a taste of it there. What I do wanna see in the game, is the mass of easter eggs I've heard of. When Niko steals a bike, he'll put a helmet on. Safety first! But if someone is using the bike he's stealing, He gets no helmet. I wouldn't have thought of putting that in the game. But I don't like the idea that your wanted level would go down if you just...kept driving. That's no fun. I liked my epic six-car-pile-up flaming masses and police firefights after killing a row of hookers.
Other things: Using the FlatEdit PSP application and the PSPPDA app are really keeping me in check. I actually get shit done now, it's a good feeling. What doesn't feel good though, is my flab. Fuckin' sit-ups.

Soap, PSP's, etc.
So I've recently joined the Instructables site and even made an Instructable on PSP applications.
I also found a post on how to make your own SOAP shoes, and I wanna try it out when I have the time and money.
I've been playing some psp games recently, and I've come upon conclusions that:
-Patapon is racist, but amusing. (Seriously? Drums that command little black spear weilders? )
-Echochrome pisses me off.
-Yay Burnout.
-No one is ever online for Infected. :(
I'm pretty happy with my new psp, glad I picked it up. still love my DS though. Can't forget my phat DS.
PS: Am I the only one who sees underlined font? :[ Can't turn it off.

New Blog.
So I've made blogs in the past, and I always forget to actually keep them running or I close them down. Well, now I have a good reason to open a new one. I'm bored as hell. So this is where it shall begin, post one.
I've been wanting to get out of my house more, so I've been scouting out places to look around in my local area. There's a few neat places, and I can get to know the bus driver that goes by my 'burb. I've also been looking into life hacking, like Lifehackers.com. It's a pretty neat thing, I wanna do some of it. I probably will in the upcoming weeks, since school is almost over.
I've also been drawing more recently. I've even ipened up a deviantart account, and am somewhat happy with my bad doodles. I've started a small textless comic too, called Realistic Toast. I really wish my last game design project had gone well, but it fell out due to all of us getting girlfriends and doing schoolwork for once. It'll be good though, I need the time to work on my bad drawing skills and maybe get a girlfriend.
